Marco Illy is President and the controlling shareholder of MSCS. His profile is well known in Switzerland having been one of its pre-eminent bankers for many years, acting as Head of Investment Banking in German Speaking Europe and Member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. During this period Mr. Illy gained his healthcare sector experience having advised on the sale of Synthes to J&J, Actelion to J&J, the demergers of Ciba and Syngenta from Novartis, and Givaudan from Roche, Zimmer's acquisition of Centrepulse, the divestiture of Alcon from Nestle, as well as on the IPOs of Idorsia and DKSH. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of Innosuisse – Switzerland’s government owned innovation agency, Compagnie Financiere Tradition – a financial conglomerate listed on the Swiss stock exchange, and RocketVax – a biotech startup developing next-generation vaccines.
